E1-Configuration:
basic aircraft plus 240 kg trim weight in the nose section
modification with the canard control surfaces
a complete F-104 tailplane section was then grafted to the spine on the upper fuselage
drag chute compartment reinstalled
first flight on November 20, 1980 with neutral stability
flights 77-83, last flight February 20, 1981

E2-Configuration:
basic aircraft plus 400 kg trim weight (tail ballast) in the tail section
drag chute compartment was taken out and a trim weight compartment was added under the tail section
first flight on July 17.1981
flights 84-110, last flight September 30, 1981

E3-Configuration:
basic aircraft plus 600 kg trim weight (tail ballast) in the tail section
first flight on October 1.1981
first flight with 20% negative stability January 28, 1982
flights 111-118, last flight January 28, 1982.
