MAP aircraft FX18; manufactured by West Group (ARGE-West); taken on charge September 13, 1963
damaged on March 25, 1965 after hitting the runway again with the pylons and fin after gear retraction, repaired
September 23, 1970 during a firing exercise at Solenzara the aircraft is damaged by 20mm from the 'Gatling'-gun. The 'rigging' of the gun failed, and some bullets pierced the cockpit.
The pilot was unhurt, but one of the bullets pierced his flying suit
crashed with 350 squadron of 1 Wing May 23.1978 at Beauvechain AB, Belgium after nose wheel steering problem on landing, causing the rupture of the Nose Wheel,
aircraft overturned inverted, the pilot stayed in the aircraft, and was able to cut himself loose from the wreck and was ok;
Firefighters of 1 Wing arrive very quickly on the spot, and break the glass of the aircraft in order to extract the unfortunate pilot
1983-1986 fuselage and tail used for ABDR training at Technical School, Saffraanberg; 1986-2005 tail (T part) in front garden of Johan Bringmans' house at Sint-Job-in't Goor,
which resulted in many, many phone calls over the years to the local police station that "a plane" just has crashed.
Tail has been corroded over the years and has been removed & scrapped when a bike trail has been laid between the road and the house
1987-1990 fuselage seen on dump Saffraanberg (no wings); 1991-1992 fuselage noted at Melsbroek; 2000 at Evere dump; 2000 last noted; likely scrapped.
