TF-104G "FN-Z" 331 squadron RNoAF

TF-104G, construction number 583C-5509, model 583-10-20, US serial number 62-12264, build by Lockheed
MAP to Norway September 6, 1963 coded "FN-Z" with 331 Skv
crashed at Aalborg AB, Denmark on November 17, 1970 seconds after take-off, pilot ejected safely,
but the "back-seater" did not ejected and was killed, Lockheed C-2 ejection seat; written off with 817 flight hours
the plane hit the ground only seconds after takeoff caused by asymmetrical weight due to uneven pylon tank weight
(full fuel tank and a travel pod on the other side), the pilot, Stærkeby ejected safely, but the passenger, Sgt. Ansgar Johannessen was killed.

In the morning of the 19th this TF-104G landed with pilot and crew chief at Aalborg AFB coming from Bodo AB to do some shopping
Early afternoon they returned with an enormous amount of meat which they fitted in the travel pod.
However due to a strong cross wind the weather forecaster advised against the aircraft returning to Bodo on this day.
However what to do with their precious cargo, the next opportunity was to be Monday.
So against the advice of the weather control they decided to take off. Shortly after becoming airborne the aircraft turned upside down
due to the strong crosswind and crashed on the runway.
