transported via train to Messerschmitt-Norvenich for reassembly; Messerschmitt test flight on September 2, 1960
acceptance date September 27, 1960 by BABwMTT in Silver-finish colors

29+11 heavy damaged December 14, 1970 during an emergency landing due to bird strike at Soesterberg AB, Netherlands
during landing roll main landing gear broke off; both pilots were ok; struck off charge order (AVA) December 14, 1970
29+11 was in the process to repair to operational status, but order for grounding all F-104F from MatALw dated 16.04.1971 stopped the repair, aircraft was withdrawn from use!
on pole inside Köln-Wahn barracks coded "BB+374" at Luftflotten-Kommando with no markings in 1972 with training aid code "C062"
in October 1997 it was transported to Erding AB for complete restoration; seen at Erding September 1, 1998
preserved on pole in Köln-Wahn barracks (LwFüKdo) late 1999; 2005 noted
March 5, 2007 taken down from the pole and dismantled
September 2007 stored at Köln-Wahn (Flugbereitschaft); March 14, 2010 last noted
February 17, 2011 transported to Flugwelt Altenburg-Nobitz (on loan from Luftwaffenmuseum der Bundeswehr Berlin-Gatow)
preserved in Museum der Flugwelt Altenburg-Nobitz; April 21, 2011 first noted
restoration with landing gear down completed on March 22, 2012; May 2016 last noted.
