CF-104 "731" (12731) of 6 ST/R OTU during formation lights tests at CFB Cold Lake CF-104, Canadair model CL-90, Lockheed model 683-04-12, Canadair construction number 683A-1031, RCAF serial number 12731, built by Canadairfirst flight January 25.1962, after 11 flights with 20:00 flight hours taken on service by RCAF as CF-104 Starfighter s/n 12731 on April 27.1962, first unit 6 ST/R OTU reserialed as 104731 effective June 1970; flew in unit's 1972 display team at Moose Jaw air show; flown in solo displays in 1975 by F/L Dave Leach, RAAF still with this unit in 1983 stored at Mountain View; struck off service March 2, 1990; to CFB Comox for preservation (date unknown), pedestal monument CFB North Bay preserved at Comox AB "Comox Air Force Museum" park, BC in European camo 2002, August 7, 2005 noted 104731 newly painted "763" in July 2014, this color scheme represents Starfighter 104763 which carried this celebratory red-white-blue color scheme for the occasion of 417 Strike/Reconnaissance Operational Training Squadron's colors presentation after 25 years of active service on June 4, 1983 and then a month later in July 1983 on the occasion of 417 Squadron's disbandment, the last Starfighter squadron; March 2021 noted July 13, 2022 coded with serial number "731" last noted; transferred to British Columbia Aircraft Museum at the Victoria airport July 7, 2023 June 2024 displayed been stripped of all its camouflage; October 3, 2025 the BC Aviation Museum hosted a special event to unveil the completed restoration of CF-104 731.
