F-104J "655" (46-8655) 207th Hikotai of 83rd AG JASDF seen 1979 wearing a 2-tone grey ACM colorscheme at Nyutabaru AB 1984 F-104J, construction number 683B-3155, model 583-07-14, serial number 46-8655, built by MitsubishiJapanese Air Self Defense Forces (JASDF) Order of Operations: Mitsubishi-built; delivery date January 23, 1965; first unit unknown; 1972 with 207 squadron of 83 AG; seen at Chitose AB with LAU-3 Rocket pods in May1981 ACM meeting 1983 in 2-tone grey camouflage scheme; "F-104 Brothers" with black nose Nyutabaru AB November1984; April 1985 last noted withdrawn from use in November 1991; in 1997 preserved without squadron markings but with all unit badge on intake and shark mouth at Gifu AB.
